Loadbank Operator Instructions

  • Remove all transport covers completely before proceeding 
  • All loose materials that could block air intake to be removed away from unit while unit is testing 
  • Unit operates at very high temperature under load so all precautions should be taken to avoid exhaust air coming into contact with combustible material 
  • Unit should not be operated in areas where air flow is restricted
  • Connect power cables to bus bars 
  • If supply is not 415V 50Hz an external supply is required to power the fans 
  • Set selector sw to internal/external supply as required. Sw located just below bus bars terminations 
  • Press fan start 
  • Before entering load make sure fans are blowing air across elements 
  • Follow instructions in the blue window 
  • Enter kW load and press enter 
  • For new load press reset, press the number of kW required and press enter 
  • Any mistakes when entering load will bring up instructions in blue window 
  • Follow instructions and resume test 
  • When load test is complete allow five to ten minutes to cool down fans
  • Any problems contact Auspower EDM
  • Unit will drop load off if temperature rises above a set level
  • Allow unit to cool and resume test  

Control All Units via the hand controlled 'combined'

  • Connect all units together  
  • Make sure interconnection leads are connected male to female sockets. male to male will damage the unit 
  • Follow instructions in hand controller view window, combined load  

Control all units via the hand controller 'individually'

  •  To enter load on individual units press view  
  •  To enter individual loads on each unit press update and enter kW for unit selected 
  •  Press view to go back to combined
